Development Projects:

Education: Led weeklong teacher development workshops with 34 village teachers and school principals.

Health: Treated 1,000 patients while concurrently training 30 rural health promoters (including 10 people in need of critical care and 60 children for scabies), held health/sanitation/nutrition workshops for all of those patients, cleaned 75 people’s teeth and performed more than 100 tooth extractions, held first-ever training for 14 midwives.

Economic Development: Trained 175 women in budgeting and personal finance, trained 150 villagers from 11 villages on agricultural techniques, consulted 12 village leaders on improving economic opportunities specifically for their cardamom co-op.

Infrastructure: Began construction on the area’s first middle school and library, a school kitchen, health clinic, and community water system.
